summer vacation

in the Tannheim Valley

Starting point for hikes, bike tours and ...activities.

At an altitude of 1,100 meters, you hike past mountain lakes, along high-altitude hiking trails and unique themed trails. 31 alpine pastures and huts invite you to stop off. For "pleasure walkers" the Tannheimer Tal offers numerous destinations and attractions. With the mountain railways you can easily reach mountain trails and shorten the climb to mountain peaks with beautiful views over the high valley and the Allgäu Alps.

26 marked routes take you through the fascinating nature of the Tannheimer Valley. Take a deep breath and enjoy the fresh mountain air - on a run to the Vilsalpsee - through the nature reserve of the same name. With a length of 186 kilometers, the Tannheimer Valley is Tyrol's largest running and Nordic Walking arena.

The Tannheimer Valley is a paradise for cyclists. 22 road bike tours with a total of 2,500 kilometers, 15 mountain bike trails and 40 kilometers "Tannheimer Valley cycle path" offer the right tour for everyone. E-bikes are also available for hire in our hotel.

Only a walk of 10 minutes away from the hotel you can find the beautiful Haldensee. It provides pleasant refreshment on hot summer days.
Or venture into the crystal-clear waters of the Vilsalpsee, one of the most beautiful mountain lakes in Tyrol. The bathing is allowed but the water temperature generally doesn't rise above 17°.

6 sport climbing gardens, 8 climbing areas, 3 fexed rope-routes, 1 climbing park and a climbing hall, as well as 2 waterfalls for ice climbing (in winter) offer the right route for every climbing fan. Our tip: After a strenuous climb, pamper the body with a relaxing massage in our ORJOLA Spa, which promotes blood circulation and helps to prevent muscle soreness the next day.

Within a few minutes walk you reach the Haldensee. The fishing season begins on April 1st. Other lakes, ponds and running water in the valley offer numerous fishing opportunities and different difficulty levels for anglers.

The summer in the Tannheimer Tal also offers many attractions for our young guests. A climbing forest, canyoning tours, mountain bike trainings, Water World Haldensee, boating, pony and horse riding and much more provide fun and excitement ...
