SKIING IN THE TANNHEIMER VALLEY

FUN ON THE SLOPE

If there is one place that comes particularly close to being a paradise for skiers, then it is the Tannheimer Tal in winter. Because nowhere else are the distances so short and the variety so great. From the cozy family ski area to the ski region at high altitude to the huge neighboring ski area, the high valley fulfills all wishes. So it's hardly surprising that countless active athletes are drawn to the Tannheimer Tal for skiing every year.

Those who would like to conquer as many slopes as possible can look forward to a cross-border ski safari here. With six ski areas in the immediate vicinity of the …liebes Rot-Flüh and a few more in the Allgäu, guests on a skiing holiday in the Tannheimer Tal can be sure of one thing - pure variety.

6 STATIONS ON YOUR SKI HOLIDAY IN THE TANNHEIMER TAL

For winter sports fans, skiing in the Tannheimer Tal at 1,100 meters above sea level is simply heavenly: shuttle buses right in front of our hotel in Grän and modern lift systems take skiers to the six surrounding ski areas, Grän, Tannheim, Zöblen, Schattwald, Nesselwängle and Jungholz, with around 55 kilometers of slopes. Six ski schools await beginners on a skiing holiday in the Tannheimer Tal, while advanced skiers and freeriders can put their knowledge to the test on enjoyable descents and FIS race tracks.

Families with children are particularly drawn to the Jungholz ski area on the edge of the Tannheimer Tal when on holiday in Tyrol. On a total of 10 kilometers of blue and red pistes, little ski bunnies can make their first turns in the snow and get to know the winter sport in a quiet environment.

Our tip: In January and March, the winter mountain railways in the Tannheimer Tal are included at certain times!

TYROL & ALLGÄU UNITED

Two regions - one playground! Together with the Allgäu, the northern part of Tyrol, including the Tannheimer Tal, forms a unique ski area. The huge network of slopes spread over several mountain peaks and valleys makes the "Vital Land" a popular holiday destination. And the best thing about it: All areas for skiing in the Tannheimer Tal are also included.

If you want to take advantage of the hour – or rather an active holiday in Tyrol – you can also take a shuttle bus from the hotel to the next larger ski area on the Arlberg on request.
