ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY JOURNEY TO THE TANNHEIMER VALLEY

Comfortable & Green Travel

From this year, the Tannheimer Valley will be even easier to reach for train travelers. Travelers can comfortably travel to Ulm with the ICE train from Hamburg (departure around 6:20 am - via Hannover - Fulda - Frankfurt) or Dortmund (departure around 8:35 am - via Cologne - Mannheim - Stuttgart). Those coming from Berlin (departure around 8:00 am) have the option to travel either via Frankfurt or Munich. The trains reach the main station in Ulm around 2:00 pm and from the station it is only a few steps to the bus stop in the Tannheimer Valley.

There is a free SHUTTLEBUS from the station square in Ulm, which goes directly to the most beautiful high valley in Europe. Show your booking confirmation and you can store your luggage and continue to relax: Arrival in the Tannheimer Valley. The SHUTTLEBUS departs around 2:30 pm and the journey takes about 90 minutes.

In the opposite direction, the SHUTTLEBUS departs from the Tannheimer Valley at around 11:30am and reaches the main station in Ulm around 1:30 pm. This allows enough time to transfer to long-distance trains heading north, which depart there around 2:00 pm.

Pre-registration for the bus shuttle is important so that transport capacities can be planned.
